Great chapter. Glad Bella knows now and isn't afraid of Edward. When will she find out about Jake? Can't wait to read more.

Great chapter. Glad Edward managed to stop the truck. I like how you're changing the original story line of Twilight now to fit your story. Can't wait to read more. Will Bella think it was actually Edward who stopped the truck?

Wow, I loved it!
I am sad to see the end come. I am going to treasure the epi.
Author's Response: I am so beyond thrilled you loved it! Sorry for the late reply--Holiday season kind of gets me every year.
I just uploaded the epi today, so my VB should have her up and ready in the next couple of days!
Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Bella's draw to James was a surprise.
I'm interested to see what exactly she tells Charlie
Author's Response: So sorry for the late reply. The holiday season keeps me rather busy :)
Idk, I always figured that it would only be natural to have a draw to your maker as a vampire...I mean, even in traditional lore, it's their blood mixing with yours, and this is only different because it's their venom. It seemed only natural that they'd be a part of you, even if you tried to fight it. The draw would dwindle as their blood/venom worked it's way through the newborn's system, but in the beginning it would be strong.
Does that make sense?
I posted the epilogue, and hopefully my VB get's it up this week! She should, she's awesome like that :-)
Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I'm glad Bella didn't end Tanya, although, I wanted Edward to tell Bella that the reason his scent on Tanya made Bella angry was because Edward is Bella's mate, but he didn't. :( At least later he told her he wanted to be with her for eternity,
When Edward bit Bella, I wanted him to bite both her wrist too, so that Victoria and Laurent's marks would be covered by Edward's mark as well as the one on her neck. But maybe you will let them do that later. I really expected that the window was going to break with all their weight -- and not just crack. But I'm glad they didn't fall through it. I would hate to have Tanya come back to a naked Edward and Bella. Though, maybe Tanya should expect that Edward and Bella would make love. I was also a bit afraid that Edward would destroy Bella's clothes -- like she did his shirt. I wouldn't have blamed him, because that is very sensual, but then Bella wouldn't have had anything to wear -- unless Tanya brought something that would fit her.
I don't know how I feel about Edward going after James. I know why he wants to, and killing James is the right thing to do, but I don't want Edward to get hurt -- especially now that he and Bella are back together, and can be together for eternity. I hope if Edward does go after James -- and I'm fairly positive that Edward will -- that he will wait for Bella to dress, and let her go with him, even though his natural reaction will be to protect her from a fight. It would be better for the two of them to approach James together, than for Edward to go alone. As a newborn, Bella is stronger than both of them. And besides that, I'm not so sure that Bella left alone with Tanya is a good idea.
BTW -- did Edward and Tanya drive to Forks, or did they run? Just curious. It would be easier to get Bella back to Alaska without running into humans if they drove, but I believe Edward could stop Bella, if they ran, and did run into humans. Just a thought.
Thanks for another wonderful chapter. As always, I can hardly wait for the next one. Go figure! :)
Author's Response: Bella will understand about being Edward's mate. I promise :-D
As for the bites...they have a lot of years to cover up her attack wounds. don't you worry ;-)
could you imagine if they fell through? I think that would have been HILARIOUS! But, I couldn't do that for their first time sexin' it up vamp-style...
I love your thoughts on the James topic. I promise, you won't be disappointed ;-)
Hmm, I never really gave it much thought as to how they arrived, TBH. I'll leave it up to interpretation ;-)
Thanks for reading and for another epic review!
Here's your teaser:
I stood between Edward and the door, stunned, as he told me that he was going to go and kill James. The look in his eyes was wild, and the usual amber colour of his eyes was now blacker than black as his rage heightened, mistaking his fury for the need for blood.
Well, he did want blood…just not for sustenance. He wanted revenge. For me.
"Edward, you can't," I told him, clutching the sheet closer to my chest with one hand as I laid the other over his still heart.
Edward looked down at me, completely shocked. "How can you say that? He turned you! Why are you protecting him?"
I couldn't believe that's what he thought I was trying to do. "Protecting him? I'm not trying to protect him."
"Then give me one good reason why I shouldn't track him down and make him pay for what he's done?" Edward demanded, a growl teetering on the edge of his voice.
"Because it would destroy you. That's not who you are. I can't lose you…I just got you back," I confessed, my voice lowering to a whisper at the end. I could feel the venom that now coursed through my body sting my eyes as I felt the urge to cry. Even though I hated to cry when I was human, it was beyond frustrating that my body refused to cooperate with the emotion. It was almost as though I craved the release that tears sometimes brought.
Edward's frame softened, and I truly believed I had gotten through to him. I breathed a sigh of relief, and moved aside to take him back upstairs so I could get dressed. It wasn't until I hit the first stair that I realized I was mistaken.
"Stay here!" Edward shouted as he rushed out the door. I ran onto the front porch, but I was too late. He was gone.

Oh no! Just when I was beginning to think Bella might give Edward another chance, she has to run into Tanya! Edward should have known better than to bring Tanya with him. I know she's his best friend, but he should have anticipated Bella's reaction to seeing her, and smelling his scent on her. Edward just can't keep from making mistakes, can he? Of course, if he had brought Alice, you wouldn't have written a cliffhanger to make us ache for the next chapter. Perhaps it was a good thing that I had relatives in for Thanksgiving. That's why I'm late reading and reviewing this chapter. However, as much as I wished that I had had time to read this before now, I'm thinking that perhaps it's good that I have a few days less to be on pins and needles until you post again.
I liked seeing Bella fading through her eyes, and now that you explained to me why she was fading -- that she had been drained too much, and was close to death -- it makes even more sense. I'm glad Edward brought her food before it was too late.
I was afraid Bella would remember everything once she was changed, and that she would be angry with both Edward and Jake. I hate that she could forgive Jake easier, though it makes sense because Edward took everything away without her consent. I loved Leah's conversation with Bella, and was glad that Leah made Bella see that had their situations been reversed, she would have done the same thing for Edward.
Now, I can hardly wait to see what happens with Tanya. I hope Edward intercepts Bella, but he does have some explaining to do about everything.
Thanks for another great chapter. As always, I am looking forward to the next one, and I hope it won't be too long before you are able to post again. Go figure! :)
Author's Response: HAHA! You should really just start to expect the unexpected with my stories ;-) To be fair, I dont think Edward was expecting Bella so soon... :-P
I'm glad you liked seeing what Bella was going through in her POV. I thought it would make mores sense than just having Jake witness it as he had no clue.
Yes, she seemed to forgive Jake a little easier, but keep in mind, he saved her. So even though he was the catalyst for Edward giving up his life, Jake kept her safe. That's not to say she's not pissed at him... but Jake didn't throw away their relationship. Does that make sense?
I LOOOOOVED writing the BellaxLeah Talk!! It was my favourite part. I figured it would be good. Having someone who has actually felt what Jake felt when the shift happened... and then have them explain to her what he still felt about the attack, and if Edward felt anywhere near as horrible as Jake did then she could understand.
The next chapter has been uploaded (last night, actually) so it should be validated soon!!
Thanks for reading and reviewing! Here's your teaser:
It hadn't been all that long, but it certainly felt like eons. While I waited, I decided to uncover the furniture in my room and make myself at home. That would be hard to accomplish, though, since most of my personal belongings were no longer in Forks. I moved to my large picture window and stared out upon our vast property. Suddenly, a familiar, yet still new, scent wafted up to my room, and just as I took off for the stairs, I heard Bella's voice.
"I asked you a question," she snarled, and I had barely made it in time to pull Tanya out of the way. Quickly, I slipped behind Bella and wrapped my arms around her waist to hold her back as she snapped her razor sharp teeth at Tanya. Now, while I realized it was completely sadistic to feel anything but horrified by her near-attacking Tanya, I couldn't help but feel slightly relieved by her reaction. Surely, it must have meant she still cared, right?
"Bella," I crooned softly in her ear, pressing my nose into the hollow below it. "Shhh, calm down. This is Tanya, she's my friend." I felt the rumbling growls in Bella's body begin to lessen, and her rigid form softened in my embrace. "Good, good," I soothed.
Bella shook her head and pushed herself out of my arms. "I'm sorry. I don't…I have no idea what that was about."
I couldn't wipe the smug smirk off my face, and when she turned to face me, she scowled. "There was nothing funny about what just happened." She turned to Tanya and looked at her apologetically. "I'm so sorry, I really don't know what came over me. I seem to be unable to control myself properly."
Tanya smiled and moved toward Bella, much less cautiously than she probably should have. I watched Bella inhale a shallow breath before a snarl sounded, and she quickly slapped her hands over my mouth. "Sorry," she mumbled through her small hands.
"It's fine. You two should talk. I'm going to go hunt." And with that, Tanya exited the room, leaving Bella and I alone with the awkward silence.
Bella lowered her hands slowly, her eyes never leaving me as I stared back. "She smells like you," Bella said, her voice quiet, but full of confusion and anger.
"What?" I questioned, not quite understanding.
Bella held her head high, trying to find confidence. "Your scent. It's all over her. It makes me…angry, and I don't know why. I shouldn't feel…not after…" Bella seemed to be struggling for the right words. "All I know is when she opened the door and I smelled… You two didn't…?"

So Bella figured out what they did. I knew it had to happen.
I'm guessing Tanya was trying to comfort Edward & that's why she had his scent on her?
And where are the rest of the Cullens? I thought for sure it would've been Alice answering the door
Author's Response: Yes. She was dreaming about it while human too, being as she is a "shield" and all, and not entirely a "feeble human mind" as Marcus called it... but as soon as she was changed and stronger from feeding, everything came back.
And you'll have to wait until the next update to see why tanya's scent was all over him ;-) I'm evil that way :-P And we'll see the Cullens soon :-)

Nice chapter....I like her not just instantly falling into him. When will Edward ever learn....And I like that Tanya brings out the possessiveness in our girl.....Keep going!!!
Author's Response: Yeah, I didn't feel right that Bella would INSTANTLY fall right back into step with him... I mean, she WILL, but after remembering everything, it just didn't seem right. However, after talking to Leah...I can see it a little more realistically now.
