I don't know. It seems to conflict with canon, making it so hard to save an immortal vampire. If it's that difficult to fix him, and time is limited, why do they have to burn James? It's not like Victoria or Laurent could have gotten there in time to save him, with 4 liters of blood handy to circulate through him. Eh, I get that you're creating drama and such but I think it's ridiculous and unnecessary. Hope you don't mind reviewers sharing their opinions when the opinion is something other than 'omg this is awesome'. It's just that this whole idea is so radically different from any other vampire healing theory I've ever read. I don't care for it, but I will keep reading.

Okay, on the one hand I am happy for Jacob. Wondering what's in the Samoan gene pool that makes for good shape shifters. But it was a good way to use a character that might actually canonically exist, rather than just make it some random person. And I'm glad there is a lot more sense in my favorite characters. That was a really cool re-working of the fight scene in Eclipse. I really think you got the characters personalities spot on.
Now you just need to write a story where Edward kicks Jacob's ass for Kissing Bella and for (inadvertantly) breaking Bella's hand. That would be cool too.
In case it isn't obvious - I'm Team Edward LoL
