I read on SM's website that she said the most important thing about writing is to know your characters, and you definitely have mastered these. I also love how well they analyze and understand each other.
I can see them walking down the hallway side-by-side, and people moving out of their metal-on-metal-clinking, boot-heel-clacking, black-and-silver-and-always-bad-ass way.
I love this swaggering, watch-me-walk-away Edward. And Bella is so 'collected' from his POV. I like her better there than I do from her less-than-self-confident POV. ;-D
LOVE this story. I squee every time you update!

Great chapter! He is absolutely terrified of what he is feeling. I think its rather cute.
She seems taken by him, but not as scared as him.

I'm lovin' Edward as a bad boy, the enticing smell of leather & smoke has always done if for me, and I've always loved my bad boys ;)
Coming from someone who has issues with being constrained against my will, I fell her panic attack seemed realistic. When she works past that it'll be oh so good ;)

The whole chapter was riveting, even the parts about 'carrying' that I couldn't completely follow, lol. (It's been a long time since I smelled any flowers and apparently complications and the vernacular change.)
The trip-up was a perfect catalyst to get Edward and Bella bonded quickly, and I loved the canon references you threw in. It did occur to me at the end that Edward would "take advantage" because of Bella's "foreplay" allusion, but it never occured to me that she would mind. LOLOL!

Ooo, looks like the knives may be put to use afterall, lol! (Nah, maybe Edward will just glare at the boys menacingly and then kiss all of Bella's boo-boos while dangling his key to true sexual satisfaction in front of her big brown ones. :-D) Oh! And kudos to Bella for avoiding the Unintelligent Veneer. She looks Street Smart and she's got Book Smarts - she'll keep Edward on his toes in ways that Stanleys and Mallorys never could. Scratch that...she'll keep Edward on his back in ways that Stanleys and Mallorys never thought.)
Your Alice is even more smart than sassy and I love that. You've made her perceptive rather than clairvoyant, but somehow there's an originality to her that I don't pick up from other authors. Maybe it's that your Alice is calmer than most...Ballerina Graceful as opposed to Pixie Spastic.
So sweet of you to mention my previous review in the author's notes (I feel immortal now :-D), but I'm just speaking the truth...you're the one writing the worthy story! <3

Fantastic chapter. I liked reading their 'game' in her POV.
I'm curious to see what their first words to each other will be.
I quite like this Alice and her thinking. Always Alice is one or the other with loyalty. I liked her reasoning though I assume something painful happened to get there.

I...I....I...I'm stumbling for words right now. I've been spoiled and have read stories where there are already tons of chapters but this one only has three and currently I can't stop the wide eyed confused look from my face that can't seem to figure our why there isn't more to read because not to be cliche but I'm totally addicted and really sad that I don't know what is going to happen next... oh well, I shall wait. Great job by the way. I love sexy, confident, no bull, I don't give a fuck personality he has because it's ridiculously hot. Way better seeing a pansy emotional side of him which I get is supposed to be what he's feeling and to show that men have feelings too but is just so not as appealing as fuck me against a wall Edward. Way, way better. :)

I love your characters. I love your story. Bella might be tough but under all the layers there is still a sweetness about her. Edward is showing his I dont give a fuck attitude so no one can get in but he's just a lonely lost soul.
Great chapters can wait for the next one.
