Awesome chapter as always. Had me giggling in excitement and anticipation! Very hott kiss scene at the amusement park and I loved Maggie's advice to Bella - so appropriate and straight to the point. But goodness, he's only 16! It's amazing how young they married back then! I know it was normal for them in that period, but wow. Just another reminder of how different we are today :)

So glad she said yes, and that you didn't make her put him off or her stress about it forever.

Poor Carlisle's got it bad already for Esme, and Bella's right; he'll want to step forward and intervene... it's going to be so hard for him to watch her fall into her depression and then to commit suicide. :(

Sweet. Love, love, love the E/B fluff--and so happy she finally realized that her fears were silly and said yes--or, rather, "okay". I am kind of wondering if there is something wrong w/Edward's parents since he was worried... and I am kind of wondering how far their human life will progress before the flu or something else happens. I am so hoping for everyone to get their HEA in this story, but I don't think it's going to be all smooth sailing just yet. Happy that the next chapter is already on the way. :)

lovely chapter. I love how Edward has been planning to marry Bella for a while, and now is teasing her in order to get her to say yes.  I love the Carlisle and Bella moments, it truly shows him in a different light.  I love how he was so excited to learn about Esme. Can't wait for the next chapter!

She is irritating the crap out of me.,,,,i mean come on this is 1918 if she wants him that damn bad she would marry him,...she will be a freak if she doesnt marry him this young....different times bella hello!!!

As for her telling carlisle---while i am glad she finally said something ----it annoys me that she thinks edward doesnt effect carlisle in any way.,,,how does he not realize that the only reason carlisle knew who rose was was because edward knew her name and what happened and carlisle changed rose for edward who doesnt happen to be there,,,what is carlisle gonna do? ask a unconscious girl dying in the streets if her name is rose hale?? is she stupid???? and without rose there is still no emmett and i think with out edward there is still no esme.,,,,i think she is naive if she thinks she can change everything to her will....on top of that she has the power to do one good thing....rose never wanted this life she could let her stay human and not be...but the only casualty is emmett and we cant have that as i love emmett!!!  still i think that edward just has to accept who he is now and move on,,,doesnt she consider that if she stops him she will never have met him,,,she could be yanked from the future when he stay human and never have met him,,,she isnt very bright is she???have to say not liken her much,,,,,love everyone else though.,.,,your story is really great though she is infuriating

Oh, she knows this... but you know how Bella is about marriage. *sigh* Don't worry - I have a feeling she'll figure things out. :-)

Bella told Carlisle Esme and Rose's names so he could find them. The idea would be he would track them down before the time came to actually change them. She's finally realized that by taking Edward out of the equation, she could be leading Carlisle down the wrong path. The only way she saw to correct that was to tell him who to be watching out for. As for leaving Rose human, she knows that would condemn Emmett - and remember this is Alt-NM, so she does NOT know how Rosalie feels about being changed, not being able to have babies and all of that at this point in time.

I know some people are aggravated with her - but what should she do? Just sit back and watch from her room? (That would be a boring story, Lol!) She truly believes she was sent into the past for a reason, and the only one she can she is for her to be with Edward. In order to do that, she believes she has to save him. Alice seemed to confirm this, so she thinks she's on the right track. She has considered all the possibilities - including that she could be pulled back to the future and Edward would have never been changed, so she'd never met him - but she truly believes that she wouldn't have been sent back in the first place if that was going to happen. She's flying blind and doing the best she can.

Anyway - hope this didn't come off as a rant - I just like Bella and want people to understand her. Lol! :-)
