Well It took me a few days but I ready everything you have written so far. I love it.

It is so different then anyother fanfic I have read.

Meggie is so funny with her Henry god rest his soul, I loved that part.

I am glad that Bella told Carlisle some of the things about the future.

I am still alittle concerned about what the future will hold for Bella and Edward

in both times. I keep feeling that maybe things might lead to them back to Carlisle one day.

 

 

Amazing chapter! the only thing I don't like is how Edward says "getting into MY bed". Is it not their bed? Bella and Edwards? haha ;P

The love scenes were adorable and it was sad the good byes,,,,,

I was a little irritated at bella...i am a modern woman but she chose edward and everything that came with him....she chose to live in the past,....she cant just assume he will be ok with letting her into the financial situations just because she explains some kitchen analogy to him....this is a story so i know it might not be exactly like this andthis edward always gives into bella for anything,,,but really most men wouldnt have and she has to accept that this is the life she chose and she should accept everything that comes with it...she is so naive and thinks she has an answer for everything....things werent always pleasant in the past and she will see alot of things she doesnt like or cant accept,,,,but she has to deal and stop complaining all the time,,,it drives me bonkers,,,,i know she is a modern woman and its hard for her to accept these things like any one of us would feel the same way but she has to deal,,,seriously....i dont hate her but she drives me freakin nuts,,,,aside from that love edward and wonder how you are going to bring things around to what happened at the beginning with the mushrooms and jake or edward....i am curious as to what he is going through right bnow in the future and if he will be changed at all...probably a l;ittle,,,unless this was all a dream lol

Bella and Edward certainly enjoyed their honeymoon - even if they didn't travel very far to start with ;)

Bella's still working on Edward regarding her independance and mutual partnership in the marriage... something I've often wondered is just how much equality was or wasn't present at that time in a marriage.

We all read the histories and certainly there were unequal partners - just as there are now - but I wonder if there were more equals that we didn't "hear" about or "see" because they were either kept hidden or just "assumed" to be that way. What really changes over time is how much we talk and reveal about ourselves - the spread of media helping this along - just think how much we know about each other thanks to Facebook for example, compared to what we might've known at the turn of last century without it :)

Edward would have had a child's perspective on his parent's relationship - perhaps they shared far more than he ever knew because he was separated from that level of their lives, and simply given the tools to (hopefully) communicate with his future bride and sort it out for themselves... eh not sure if that's making sense right now - my brain is refusing to put proper words to the thoughts :P

This was amazing.  I literally read the entire chapter with a smile on my face.  I am just so very happy for them that they have this time together.  I am freaking out about what is to come.

THis Allistar person with the camera, there is more to him that meets the eye, yes?  Will we see those photos in the future???  I am SO intrigued.  If we end up back in modern day I just hope that Edward remembers all of this. 

Is the wrought iron bed with the roses the same one that we see in Eclipse?  Is there a connection there?  I am so hopelessly addicted to this story... Excellent.  It is simply Excellent.

Welcome back! What a nice surprise to see an update; I was just thinking about this story the other day.

Reading about them in the claw foot tub reminded me of mine & my husband's first place. It was a 100+ year old house w/ an amazing claw foot tub. We definitely enjoyed it & missed it greatly when we moved.

OK, LOVE this story.  But also I just wanted to say that I looked at all your photos for this story and I just love it.  Everything about this time period I'm infatuated with and that was great to see.  Also, were the articles in this chapter that Carlisle showed Bella real articles from that time?

aww. how wonderful. its kinda of sad to see bella move from chicago, i wonder how it will all go and if bella will ever make it back to the future and what will be there when she does, if she does.
