I'm agog at how well you keep Edward in character, and yet how much I despise him.  That looping of Samantha's hand and the sweeping gesture into the theater is sooo like him, but it seems to pretentious when he's with someone other than Bella!   

A Sing-Along?!  Let me just say, all of your research is well worth the effort and time.  I never knew this, and it's all so fascinating and fun to me!  I love your descriptions of the theater and all the detail you put into this story.  I feel like I'm back in time. 

Bella's movie rocks, btw.  Way better'n that lame Pickford plot.  Always gettin' tied up by that mustachioed monster and havin' to be saved by another.  And of COURSE she has a miracle surgery at the end!  Why would a hero ever want an invalid?  Gawd.

I can't even tell you how much fun I've had this morning with Beyond Time.  Thanks so much for sharing this with us!  It's truly a remarkable story and you're telling it with thought and humor and intelligence.

The one positive note in it all was that it sufficiently distracted me from my desire to climb over the arm of my seat, straddle Edward, and molest him thoroughly.

This is so original! I'm really enjoying your story. YOU MUST NOT ABANDON IT! I get tired of falling for a good story and then never get the ending. Well, well, well; Edward & Bella actually getting along! I love that they had the whole electricity thing going on in the theater.

The whole women's sufferage movement reminded me of when I was a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons & School House Rock (yes, I'm old!) & now the sond is running through my head. I may have to pull out the DVD & watch that one.

The only other question I have is what about the whole different socail standing between Tom & Samantha? That seems like it might be an issue.

Although Samantha's family is well-off (her father is an attorney and partners with Edward's father), they're not super-rich... more like upper middle-class. I don't foresee any problems from them when it comes to Tom's social status.  They did kind of expect Samantha to marry Edward, however, so that might be an issue... we'll see.

I remember School House Rock too! "I'm just a bill... yes I'm only a bill.. and I'm sitting here on Capitol hill". Lol!

As for the space-time continuum/paradox... Bella should be more worried about that, don't you think? But she believes whatever sent her to 1918 sent her for a reason, so she can't mess things up too badly if she's careful. *shrugs* Just saying that's what she thinks... :-)

How was that whole movie scene? I was laughing so much! Ah, and when she said "Dont' say Avatar" lol - and when Edward caught her out about the movie she hadn't actually seen! Also when she said Charlie Chaplin like a question (speaking modernly) and he called her on it! Man, this chapter cracked me up over and over! Brilliant!

Oh, oh! The singalong!!! LMAO! Details, woman - you've got them down, and make it so casual, like it's really happening. Just love your writing style!

Gosh! All your knowledge on the theatre building, then the actual movie and cartoon, etc!!! I felt like I was there with Bella! Surely it can't be a dream - she can't imagine all those details!

Wow, I just glanced over my review and noticed there are a lot of !!! - I think I liked this chapter. :)  I've said it before, but I would have loved for this to be SM's New Moon version! I LOVE that Bella is liking Edward for other than being a different species, more beautiful than human, and I LOVE that Edward finds that he can't read Bella for more than his lack of supernatural mind reading abilities! Just... why aren't more people R&R this? The mind boggles.

Oh this was great!  It was so great that I just read it while in class and couldn't help but smile at certain parts; my teacher must think I'm insane.

I like how you've gone about switching the couples because I don't think I could take Edward ever really loving someone else. 

But, seriously, what's with Alice?  What's going on?  I have a feeling that Bella, regardless of her intentions, is messing with the entire future and apparently it's not going to end well.  I hope you make sure that doesn't happen, lol.
