This is WoNderFuL! Please write more Alice and Jasper. I just love how Edward and Jasper interact in this as well. I'd like to see more of that and also more of Alice.

Author's Response:

Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'm currently writing something else, but I'm sure I will write more Alice and Jasper someday!

Well done! Thank you.

You should continue with this. I liked it alot.

Again thank you

Author's Response:

Thank you very much as well.

However I don't think I will continue with. I didn't know where to go with it next, so I thought that the best thing to do was to end it with him no longer alone.

Again, this was amazing! You should write more sometime :)

I will go add it to the series now.. I'll email you as well, so look out for that..

A vampire doctor? Pull the other one.

Hahahah. That line made me smile. As well as the Esme is an idiot bit. Emmett asking for a fight was just typical Emmett and Edward's reactions to Jasper's thoughts had me smiling so much.

Loved this!

Author's Response: As I said, that chapter was so much fun to write. It kind of snowballed until it was four times longer then the others. I loved writing the Esme is an idiot bits. I actually love her, of course, but writing sarcastic Jasper's view of her was so much fun. I'm going to go reply to your e-mail now anyway :)

Wow this was brilliant! The way you described Jasper's feelings towards being in the diner.. and then when he saw Alice and how her love for him was more concentrated than Peter and Charlottes.

So perfect :D *sighs*

Author's Response: Thanks - I was trying to get across just how much she loved him in that moment after waiting for him for so long.

This was really good! Yep, I'll add it to my series :)

I loved the ending line!

Sure when I returned tonight my throat wouldn’t hurt anymore, but my mind and heart would and I could never change that fact.

So beautifully heartbreaking.. Hmm.. what a combination of words..

I can't wait to read more.

You asked about dates and timelines. SM totally f'ed up the timeline. I tried working it out for my Peter/Charlotte one shots and there just wasn't enough years to fit it all in.

Here is what I know:

He was changed in 1863 at the age of 20.

He met Alice in 1948.

Peter left with Charlotte in an unknown year but came back five years later for Jasper which I worked out in mind to be 1941. He then spent five years with them (Which is what I assumed) which would have taken that to 1946 and then he spent two years alone before finding Alice in 1948. And then two years after finding Alice they found the Cullens :)

But I had to make the middle bit up because SM didn't set it out correctly. I hope that helps :)

Author's Response: Yeah trust me I know about SM f'in up the timeline because of when I was trying to find the dates for this story. (Twilight Lexicon was absolutely no help what-so-ever for this chapter.) I think I might have gone a little too early as most people seem to think it was in the 1940's but I always imagined he spent more time alone then that. Anyway, I'm so happy you enjoyed this enough to add it to your series. Thank you :)

Oh I know all about how happy 'new review' emails make one.  I'm the same way.

Very nice wrap up of Jasper's journey.  I especially liked the way meeting the Cullens began to call up memories from his life as a human, which I seem to imagine did contain the joys of love and family, however fleeting.

Lovely three-part story.

Author's Response: Thanks again. Just finished responding to your last review to find out there's another. I think I may have already said it but thanks. I'm glad you've enjoyed my story and I'm really happy you've taken the time to review each chapter - thank you for all the little 'new review' moments of happiness. :)

This is a delightful meeting.  I have always been fascinated by the concept of Alice living with one foot, and half of her heart, in the future.  That she feels love for him now because in the future she will.  They will.  A pivotal moment for Jasper, and I think he handled it rather gracefully.  Nice writing.

Author's Response: I too have always been fascinated by the idea of Alice spending four decades searching for the promised happiness in her visions. I'm so glad you took the time to review, you've done it twice now for that matter. Thank you so very much - especially since you're so complimentary. I'm happy to think someone is enjoying my writing. :)

Good beginning. Jasper meets Alice in the year 1948 and they join the Cullen family in 1950, and I'm pretty sure they talk about Peter being changed the 1940's. So, I would imagine it would be sometime in the 40's. Hope this helps you out............

Author's Response: Thnak you :)

Reviewer: miaokuancha (Signed) · Date: February 25, 2010 08:24 PM · On: Alone

A very nice beginning.  Jasper's story is deep and tragic, as rich in potential as Edward's.   Will be very interested to see the remaining chapters you have planned!

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review.

Well there's really only two more chapters and like I said it's really more like three one-shots then a story. The next chapter is when he mets Alice and the final chapter is them meeting the Cullens, so it gets less tragic as he's introduced to some sort of hope.
