Just finished Chapter 7... SO excited! I'm not doing my housework so I can finish this... Way to go!
Author's Response: He he... Thanks!

I'm assuming that Oscar threatened Bella's life in return for Edward's immortality or something. I'm worried about this whole thing, you're stressing me out! LOL
Author's Response: If you're feeling stressed out, that means I'm doing my done! ;)

Aww, nicely done with this. It's a big step for readers to allow that Bella could fall in love again after Edward and I liked that you took us there gently, showed us her doubt and guilt and indecision.
Author's Response: Thanks,
I wanted to show that Bella was trying to move on, but that it wasn't easy.

I'm incredibly impressed that this is your first fanfic... you really write like someone who has a lot of experience doing this. In particular, I thought you did a great job of narrating the series of events after Edward's "death" (I'm assuming it's not a death since it's an ExB story :-) .)
Author's Response: Thanks,
I spent a lot of time on that first chapter. I really wanted it to sound like Stephanie Meyer's novel. It is an Edward and Bella story, however, unconventional.

Wow... I just read the whole story and so far I'm really impressed I was so sad to see that there were no more chapters after this one, so I hpe you update soon....
Author's Response: The next one is just being beta'd, so it should be up this weekend. Thanks for reading.

whats going on???? you cant leave us hanging here, we are checking every day for the next chapter
Author's Response: Sorry. I've been writing a research paper for my Masters and also marking my students final assignments. I'm mostly done my chapter, though, I'm just revising. I'm working towards having it up this weekend.
Glad to hear that you are waiting for the chapter...

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm not going to get a chapter up until next week probably. I'll try to make it early but Easter weekend is cutting into my revising time. But I'll post it as soon as possible!

I just stumbled on this story today and it's amazing so far; very creative! I'm anxious to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Thanks. No new chapter this week though, next week for sure. I'll get a couple of them finished over Easter weekend.

Wow. This story is simply amazing. I LOVE it! Poor Edward. He is so lost. It is a good sign that he remembers Bella subconsiously, at least. I can't wait to read more!!!
Author's Response: I'm so happy you like it because I'm really enjoying writing it. After reading people's reviews this weekend, I got a great idea for later in the story to amp things up, so everyone's reviews really are helping!

I just now saw your question regarding my comment that your timeline was off on Edward's initial change by about three weeks and how did I know that. The Twilight Lexicon is an absolute font of knowledge on what happened when. I believe that's where I read it. Edward was changed in mid-September, 1918. He was 17 years, 3 months old at the time.
As for this chapter... it's like Edward knows Bella, and yet he doesn't. He accepts the Cullens, and yet he doesn't. He has to be very confused. I just want to find out what happened and for Edward to heal. Is he going to be a vampire again?
Author's Response: I can't tell you if he is going to be a vampire again. You'll just have to keep reading!!!! and reviewing ;)

I knew it was to do with werewolves. Why hasn't bella got the flu yet?
Author's Response: Edward is the only one who has recovered from the influenza. That's why the hospital wanted to keep him. So, Bella can't catch it from him, but she has to be careful around other humans.

OMGsh! Can't wait to hear more. So Eddie's got the Spanish Flu again and can't remember anyone. Now, was Bella just dreaming or not? I hope you clear some things up in the next chapter. But now that he's communicating, there's hope of that.
Author's Response: Yep, Edward is the only one who has recovered from the Spanish influenza. Bella wasn't dreaming. That's all I'm going to tell you.

Aw...poor Bella, poor Edward. I hope that he eventually starts getting his memories back. And I kinda wish that he would still be a vamp. I know that sounds stupid but I do. He's just not Edward if he's not a vamp-lol. Update soon.
Author's Response: I can't tell you without giving information away. Just keep reading!

ooh, did Edward's vampiric bits mutate the flu strain into something way more fierce? Fascinating.
Author's Response: Yeah, that's what happening... :)

I kinda hope he freaks out on her. Sick, right? :)
Author's Response: Everybody loves a little monster in her man! :D

Woah is all I can say. Gosh I feel bad for the Cullens and Bella. Edward is so lost and I am eager to find out what the heck happened to him. Are Paul and Oscar going to run into the Cullens and try something???
Author's Response: Paul and Oscar may make an appearance... you'll just have to stick around and see.

Thanks for writing a cool Jacob.

this is fun! I have all these theories... like did edward bring the flu to the future and singlehandedly cause an epidemic? Is there a time travel component to the story? Or did he get humanized and take on the exact state he had been in as a human? Like Darla in Buffyverse?
Author's Response: One of your answers are on the right track, but I won't tell you which one... :D

Poor Bella, she must be heartbroken that Edward doesn't remember her. It makes sense though, when humans change into vampires they losre thier memories, so why not the other way around?
Author's Response: I thought the same thing. THe trauma of the change affects the memory.

Love this chapter! It's enjoyable to see Edward become human in reverse to him becoming a vampire. Bella struggles because he doesn't remember her but there are flickers of her that he can't grasp. Kind of hurts that he can't bare the Cullens tho, as much as they love him. I have to wonder if Bella will get this flu!! Oh no! That would be so ironic for her to get it and in order to save her life, Carlisle would have to change her. *sighs* Great writing! I look forward to the next chapter!!
Author's Response: Things are not easy for them that's for sure. Having Edward back comes with so many complications.
