Good Lord, I hope he doesn't turn into a wolf, were or otherwise. I just want Bella and Edward together, in a good way, happy like they used to be. A crippling curse on Oscar and maybe a little on Paul, too for what they did to Edward. For ripping him and Bella apart, screwing up their lives.

Some memories are bone deep it seems. How else to explain that passionate kiss in the lake? I'm so happy Edward is becoming more comfortable around his family. That was genious, having the 'adoptions' be explained as foster kids.

There is more hope in the world, after this chapter. Little bits and pieces are starting to come back to Edward and not all pleasant ones, either. The campsite sounds lovely, I hope good things happen there, not bad stuff.

What else could she have told him, that would have helped? I feel so bad for the both of them, their lives are a damn mess, thanks to whatever was done to Edward. If there is any justice, I hope the Cullens and Bella get even with whoever did this awful thing to Edward.

Okay, I'm thinking torture and brainwashing, but damned if I can fiure out how Edward is human again, or even if he really is This is giving me a headache but it's too late, I have to know.

Whoa, how did Spanish Influenza manage to make a comeback, coincidence? I'm not so sure...Ok I think I have some of this figured out, of course only you know, but this is my guess; After what Jake told Bella about Paul really losing it after Rachel was killed by Victoria, and this sadistic sounding 'real' werewolf Oscar, and all the details about Oscar, I think it was Oscar and Paul that captured, held, tortured, and maybe even experimented on Edward...Poor Edward, I feel so bad for him, whatever they did (if it was them) had to be so horrific...I'm getting really pissed, karma's a bitch, so whoever hurt Edward is gonna pay and I hope they die...Geez, I'm sort of harsh, but I love Edward...So does Bella, and I'm so sad for her right now; that had to hurt when he asked her who she was...He sure seems to respond to her, or at least he was...On to chapter ten...

Jacob is turning out to be a good guy, after all. Probably the guilt is working on him and Bella, too. Sounds like a special-ops rescue, to me .Sure hope all goes well, and they get Edward out of that hospital before somebody gets suspicious.

Great chapter! Some good stuff, some sad stuff...Your hints were really good this time...I think a vampire and a werewolf were involved in whatever happened to Edward...Poor Edward; I think he was tortured and/or experimented on by someone or something...Jake said he didn't smell like a vampire or a human, but that it was a familiar scent...I'm forming some crazy ideas in my head about all of this...I really teared up as Bella sat with Edward, telling him she loved him, talking to him about their life together, etc., I think I let out a little squeal when he squeezed her hand and his eyes fluttered open...This may sound smug, but of course her touch calmed him down, after all it was Bella's touch...Looking forward to next chapter...

That is the most complete narrative abnout Edward's circumstances just before his transformation that I have ever read. You did a really good job.

It took her three years, but I'm still a bit surprised that Bella has said goodbye to Edward. There's no universe in which that's natural or normal. Just talked to my daughter(decided against slappuing her) and we discussed the fact that I may be too wrapped up in Twilight. Probably, but, old women need hobbies too. Back to the tale!

I spend all of my time writing and reading Twilight fanfiction, so I'm also addicted. Maybe there should be support meetings.

*Heavy sigh*  I'm not sure what to say right now...Who the hell was it in Edward's dream (and in the forest that day) that said 'Hello, Edward. I'm so glad we found you. I've heard a lot about you and your bloodsucking family." (?) You gave us some clues for your story, but I must be dense because they didn't help me figure out anything...Why is Edward 'patient zero', or more importantly, why is he 'patient zero' and how did he become infected?  I think that will be a key point...What ever happened to him had to be a trade off or something to keep Bella safe; maybe even his whole family...He thinks it's still 1918, that's so weird...Well I'm just glad his 'family' found him...I love the great escape they are planning, I hope it works...But I wonder, if Edward is a carrier of this 'virus', how are they going to keep him away from other people, he will just infect them, right? What about Bella, this is going to be so hard for her...I can't wait to see what happens when Edward sees Bella...And bless Jake's little dog heart for helping with the rescue (sorry, not a big Jacob fan even if he is a nice guy)  Can't wait to read more...Dying to know if Edward will get his 'life' back and his memories...

I'm back, finally the laundry is done! :)  Great chapter, but my mind is a swirling mess of confusion! In fact, my mind is completely blown away by this chapter! What in the world happened, or is happening to Edward? He seems to have some sort of amnesia...If he thinks he's Edward Masen, then everything about his (life) as Edward Cullen is non-existent?...Which means he doesn't remember his 'family' and more importantly, Bella...I noticed he dreamt of her in the hospital, but doesn't know who she is...I'll bet the melody in his head was the lullaby he composed for Bella...Holy crap, he has to remember! I also noticed that he has flashes or dreams of memories (besides Bella) that are Edward Cullen based (I hope that made sense) And how is he not a vampire anymore? I need answers! Ok, I'm freaking out, I need to calm down...You really know how to pull us in...I have to say that you are a talented story teller, I'm completely invested in your story and your characters...Off I go to the next chapter :)
