Author's Response: I'm usually kind of leary about alt. POV's of the same material, not the least that it's very difficult to get the "voices" right --clear and different enough to give freshness to a plot that the reader already knows. In this instance, Lily was SO VIVID in my head that I simply had to write her experience. These two are just so cute together :D

Lily have a good sense of humour, and Jesus, you have to. When she thought that "with a name like sushi" I laughed A LOT. I always think that strange names sounds like, I don't know, like some small village in Turkey.
Another thing that I really appreciate is when characters in stories relates to other invented things. Like Lily when she mentions Harry Potter. When she looks at that kind of stories like fictional it makes her world more real.
Author's Response: It's so cool when a character drops into the mind so fully developed: I "knew' that Lily would be tall & athletic, have a sense of humor and a lot of curiosity about the world. I didn't have to work at a mental backstory for her at all i.e.: her step-father owns a car-dealership & her family is well-off...where did that come from? No idea. fic is so fun! I always love reading another persons point of view, it often gives a deeper understanding for the story. And looking at Seth through Lilys eyes.... Njammi! Just wish it was me. Haha, I have started to change the types of guys I'm attracted to.
Author's Response: The altPOV thing can so often be abused: so often it feels like 'padding' or the 'voice' isn't different enough. Happily, Lily's voice was very clear, she was really fun to write! <><3

So glad you told me to read this! It totally made my night, it makes it a little bit more funny thinking about working tomorrow. Wait, I'm free! Haha!
No, seriously, I love this. I could tell I would like it just by the introduction. It really caught me. It was funny, cute and romantic just as the rest of the story. And then we have the erotic stuff. Ever though about writing for Harlequin or something? It's hot but with feelings, not just sex. And that makes it alive. And such a turn on.
It's like a freakin romantic comedy. A really GOOD one. I mean, I laughed so much that my family asked what the heck that was so funny. Im just saying...
"Even Sam, who's usually pretty sympathetic about woman trouble (he points out that it seems to be part of his job description), got sort of fed up with me."
Oh. So good. Of to the next chapter! Soon atleast.

This was a sequence of events: I saw the contest notice; I read the first couple of entries; a sentence I had read on the Quileuete website (about the popularity of storm-watching) popped into my head - and away I went! It was absolutely delightful to be invited into Seth's head, what a sweetie. Then Lily wanted some airtime, so...Glad you liked it!<><3

Author's Response: Isn't Lily just a darling? When I originally wrote the contest entry, I hadn't a tho't of continuing, but these two were so cute together...Lily just wouldn't keep silent! It's kind of a relief to not write about an ingenue, I can tell you.

It's up! It's up! And so fast! Wow! I love this chapter. The length was perfect. Plenty long enough, but plenty for next chapter. Your Seth fulfills all of the potential SM gave him in her series, and Lily is his perfect mate. She's sweet, strong, and courageous. (And she can cook!;) It was wonderful and so satisfying. *Sigh* Can't wait to see Chapter 3!
