This is working into perfection in my book...it's got stuff I expect and some I don't! Along with some supper-dupper sweet stuff, humor, and thought to detail!

I love that Alice was so comfortable around Carletta and found her happy place in the clothes.  I can't wait for Alice to go to school.

Coming up... just slowly :) I'm thinking around 24? I'm writing 23 right now... and everyone just has so much to say. Everyone. I can't shut them up though, because they're saying important things... oh well.

I figured I had to give Alice some credit, she has lived around humans for a few dozen years, in fact, even longer than in cannon because she didn't go right to Jasper because of her past, so she should be able to handle a human. We'll see about a whole school of them : )

Look at little miss determined. She's so skeptical and nervous about so many things- with good reason- and is simply going on the faith from her visions that things will turn out all right. School, Alice asks? All right, school, then, Alice decides, and I'll figure it all out while I'm there. Ha-rumph.

What is your vision, by the way, of Alice's appearance, age-wise? I'm trying to figure out if she looks young *because* she's so tiny or if she's both young and tiny. I'm getting the impression that she appears on the surface to be a very petite twelve-year-old.

I love your description of how Alice decides on school, I kinda figured that would be about how it went. I puzzled as to how she's going to get there with Jasper, (ch 23?), and I was trying to figure out if she would go. She may be having trouble with the Cullens, but she knows she can handle some humans, right? : )

That's about right. We get the impression from SM that Nessie is just going to grow up until like 20 and then chill there, so I decided that's about what Alice would have done. But, if you've ever seen a 20 or so year old severely underweight, they look like a tiny 13 year old, which is about where Alice is right now. She would look older if she weighed more, which is where I was going with that.

Thanks, part of me really hopes that Alice dosen't handle school well in the begining and she, Jasper and Esme work on thier relationships bringing them closer into the family.

You've earned my first review ever. I read all 20 chapters today. I thought the 1/4 and 1/2 vampire thing was weird at first too, but I love Alice and I feel like you have turned her and Jasper from two-dimensional characters into three-dimensional characters. I'll be following from now on!

I enjoy each new chapter even more than the ones before. 

Alice is so determined to fit in and be a part of the family despite her fears.  That says a lot for her character.  I'm a little confused about the "fruits and vegetables" unless it's Alice just trying to stay tiny.  It obviously works for her--maybe I should try it! :o)

I've always seen Alice as a fighter, I mean she comes into Twilight with no idea who she was as a human, she's got to have some sort of fight in her to still be able to be so bubbly :)

It is, she's learned over the years what she can and can't get away with, and she's trying to keep up pretenses around the "parents".

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. The way this is going I have no idea when it's going to end... so hopefully the chapters keep getting better, because otherwise I'm going to be writing alone at chapter 102... oh well :)

I wonder how long it will take for someone--maybe Esme--to figure out that Alice has some form of half-vampire anorexia.  I would think getting to the bottom of that would help Alice heal.

Your story shows great insight into the characters.  I never read anything that makes me think it couldn't have happened, and that's quite an accomplishment.

Great touch having Jasper worried more about losing his connection with Alice than actually killing.  It seems very in-character for him.

I kinda figured he wouldn't really care about feeding off of humans, but he doesn't like making Alice uncomfortable. He doesn't really know how to treat her yet :)
