I absolutely love this story. You are a very talented writer, indeed.  You should try writing an original novel, as your writing style is so fluid and engaging.   SM should pay you for this amazing "prequel!"

Very good! I look forward to reading more of your work!

Thank you.

Your idea about when Carlisle gave the Cullen crest to Edward is a good one!

Well, I actually thought Tanya would attack him! LOL!

I'd have to agree. Tanya and her sisters chase down men because of the sadness they have missing their mother.

oh ho! I can't wait to hear what Tanya has to say about our lovely Edward!

Reviewer: GeezerWench (Signed) · Date: June 03, 2011 05:43 PM · On: Family Matters

Oh yes! I'm anxious and eager to see what Tanya thinks of Edward! We all know she's "warm for his form"! LOL!

I've really enjoyed your writing. And looking forward to Edward meeting the rest of the Denalis!

Reviewer: GeezerWench (Signed) · Date: June 03, 2011 04:22 PM · On: Complicatons and Distractions

Yes, I liked the way you wrote Carlisle "distracting" Anna. And Edward's response (and anger) seemed appropriate. Edward WOULD think Carlisle was taking a bit of advantage of his best friend.

Why be beautiful and have a delicious smell if you can't use it? Even mere humans use their looks (make up, hair, clothing) and perfumes and colognes to entice other humans. Only seems reasonable that that would also be "enhanced" in a vampire. Along with their regular five senses, speed, strength and good looks.

Like you, I liked Eleazar and Carmen.

I also think that Eleazar respected the Volturi until Breaking Dawn.

Eleazar should have mentioned that he thought Chelsea was influencing his feelings for and attachment to Aro. Why he felt so bound to Aro and wanted to please him.

I kind of thought he might beat the tar out of Carlisle. And I thought the burn of the thirst might be more intense.

Eager to read the next chapter!

Carlisle fought the blood lust and won, because it was Edward, I suppose.

Yes, I was wondering how Carlisle might have tied up loose ends after he changed Edward.

"...the finality of leaving him in that cold, dark room was nearly unbearable."

That's how I felt after my mother died and we left her by the graveside as we walked away. Even though I knew SHE wasn't there anymore. the body is only a shell, but it's all we have, it's all we can see so it holds great significance to us.

I think you wrote that well.

Reviewer: GeezerWench (Signed) · Date: June 02, 2011 04:28 PM · On: The Storm is Brewing

Yes! Edward couldn't pick the "correct" answer out of the teachers head for a change!

A little humility never hurt anyone.

It kind of makes sense that Edward would be friends with Anna. He doesn't have any siblings, so Anna fills that role.

Not only do our parents teach us WHAT to do, they also teach us what NOT to do.

I really like Carlisle and Edwards relationship! I have read some that talk about Edward being mad at Carlisle for a while and and it was hard to read. The way you have written it is more plausiable to me because of Edwards personality.

Reviewer: HappyEndingLover (Signed) · Date: March 29, 2011 06:27 AM · On: Garden Party

I can't help think about Alice and Edwards relationship as compaired to Anna and Edward. They seem to have a special bond. I am very excited to see how the interaction with Carlisle goes. I have to agree that it struck me as a little off that Carlisle would change someone he knows almost nothing about.

Loved the picture of the car. I can see how Edward was effected by how he was raised. What a wonderful family.

Wow I really loved the story...I was so curious to know how edwards life had been when he was human n as a newborn...I tried to imagine it but thinking about the ideologies and lifestyles of that century was quite difficult...honestly I was very apprehensive abt how u wud manage the details but im really impressed...it seems like the exact kind of fanfic I was looking for...im dying to read on...just cant wait

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for trying out this story! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this look into Edward's early years. He was what brought me to the saga in the first place and it always feels good to hear that people feel I did him justice. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing! ~Jen

I like where the story is going.  One question.  Would a young man use really say "Mom" at this time?

Author's Response:

When I did the research for this story, I found that Mom was in common usage during the 20s. However, I unfortunately don't have the website saved on my computer. If you'd like me to look for it, I will. :) I hope you enjoy the rest of the story! Thanks for reading and reviewing! ~Jen
