Wow that is so mean to use your child as a pawn. My son's father doesn't even care to get to know my son and as much as that kills me I would never use him as a pawn against his father or anyone else for that matter.
Author's Response: First of all, let me just say THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to read and comment on the chapters! I love when I get these kind of reviews, because it really helps me keep my perspective over the entire story, and not just whatever chapter posted most recently.
I do make it a policy to respond to all the reviews, but instead of having you receive 20 notifications, I’ll see if I can respond to all of them here in one!

Heidi is a cruel woman, stuck entirely in her own world. It is sad that her own daughter is something to use. She and Felix are well matched unfortunately.
Chapter 20 - Oh man that is just cruel!!! Please tell me that Heidi didn't have him come in early so that Felix could beat him up.
Well, you now know that she invited Edward to make Felix jealous. As to whether she knew Felix would attack Edward……
Chapter 19 - Well, well I guess that they used Edward's office first!
I think that “breakfast with Edward” is my new favorite meal :)
Chapter 17 - Well thank God!!! I am glad they have finally had sex because I really don't think that either of them would have been able to wait that much longer.
The sexual tension was getting pretty thick. It was time.
Chapter 16 - Go Bella! That waitress better hope that she doesn't go after Bella's man again otherwise I think that Rose will get to her first.
Nice that Bella didn’t need Rose to tell the waitress off, that she’s gaining enough confidence on her own to watch out for her guy.
Chapter 15 - Ok now that was kinna funny that the kids found out like that. I am glad that Sarah finally told Bella what had been bothering her because that was important to her to know.
I’m glad you enjoyed the interaction with the kids – I love those parts of the story!
Chapter 13 - FINALLY!!!!!!
Trust me, Bella and Edward were thinking the same thing!
Chapter 12 - Well I wonder what Edward is doing in Portland. It has something to do with his Ex I am almost sure of that but I hope that he talks to Bella because she could help him.
Since you’ve already read ahead, you know the dual reasons he was in Portland. I’m not sure why it didn’t occur to him to talk to Bella about it first.
Chapter 11 - I wonder what the kids would have thought if they saw it? I mean their dad has moved on so why can't Bella be happy too?
Bella’s still pretty unsure how the kids will react. Yes Jacob moved on, but this is MOM, and MOM is different from dad!
Chapter 10 - Wow I think that I would have lost it and started yelling at her for saying those things to me. I just hope that she can see that the last 2 years have been very hard on her mother and that she isn't making things easier.
Sarah’s a very angry, very confused young lady, and she’s taking it out on the one person she knows will never leave her – her mom. They’ve still got some learning to do. Bella’s figuring it out.
Chapter 9 - Ah and so the pesky brother emerges. I thought that Edward was going to get up and run away as soon as Seth starting talking.
I love Seth – he’s so much fun to write!!
Chapter 8 - Poor Edward!! and Bella just has no idea what she has gotten herself into with a day with Alice...
Yeah, as you know Edward’s got his issues. Boy’s gotta open up some!
Chapter 7 - Yea!!! I am happy that they are all going along with everything and things are starting to go well for Bella!
I have to admit, a bookstore is a secret dream of mine. I may just be living a little through the story in the planning of it! :)
Chapter 6 - And now begins them spending time together. I am glad that Bella is going to do this for herself she deserve to have something that is hers.
I agree! She needs to find out who Bella is so that she’s not just Jacob’s wife, or a mom.
Chapter 5 - I am glad that Bella actually got a response out of Sarah. I hope that she will forgive her mother because it isn't Bella's fault that Jake and Bella's marriage ended.
Bella’s got a lot to learn about this new parenting situation. And so does Sarah.
Chapter 4 - I think that they are all doing a great job at trying to get Bella to realize her dreams!
Gotta love friends that you can share a vision with!
Chapter 2 - That is really sad that after a year her daughter still treats her like that.
Bella (and Jake and Nessie) need to learn how to parent together.
Chapter 1 - That is really sad that after everything is said and done that stuff is all you have after 15 years of a marriage. Rose surprised me that she didn't say anything to the waitress.
Unfortunately it all boils down to a document that spells it all out. Luckily she’s got two great kids and a decent relationship with Jacob to take away as well. Rosalie was too busy paying attention to Bella to really notice the waitress. More info on that to come in Edward’s POV.
