It is really interesting reading from Edward's point of view a story we know where it is going. I like how you have handeled Edward's "coming of age" issues and how he experiences the act of lovemaking rather than watching it.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I'm glad that you are enjoying it even though the main part of the storyline won't be a surprise :) It is definiitely a new perspective for him and a life changing event. Meeting Bella was only the first. I think the reason that he has so many issues in this story is that he has major altering event after altering event and while he has time, he never really deals with the issues and so he is caught by surprise the next time he gets hit wiith something like this again.
Can't wait for you guys to get all of this :)

Author's Response: I know you do... me too but honestly, if you were in his shoes, even though we see it, he honestly wouldn't. He's seen evidence that she is dead and nothing concrete to change his mind really. More coming soon! Maybe going in the queue tonight/tomorrow.

"I wanted to commit every detail of it to memory" no need as per canon they don't need to do that to remmber, they already remember everything pergfectly .... (remember? pardon the pun... it just came out...)
"I felt the blood rush down" no blood... just another modified version of their venom....
Author's Response: Grr... you're right.
With the memory thing though, while they remember everything, not everything is going to as powerful of a memory as others. The idea ws that this was an important moment to him and that he hoped by thinking it through in his head it would stand out amongst the others as something important.
The blood one was a straight up slip...
I did this one without a beta really (the other person who read was only looking at technical aspect) so I'm not surprised to find a couple of errors like this. Thanks for pointing them out.

Author's Response: For the same reason she didn't see it in New Moon - I really 'tried' to not change much up until that moment because I wanted it to feel like you suddenly took a trip into what might have been.

I loved Edward and Bella's wedding. The significance of the three rings was beautiful. And it was cool that Nessie and Jake got married right after. Yes, it made me cry. :)
I'm sorry this story has come to an end. I'm looking forward to reading 'Cause and Effect', but I think I'm going to have to wait until you are farther along. I don't know that I can stand Edward's heartache a chapter at a time, but we'll see.
Thank you for an awesome story. As much as there has been so much heartache, the end was worth it. I think I'm going to go back and read it from the beginning, now that it has been completed. Thanks again for this wonderful -- if heartbreaking at so many times -- story. I've cried a lot of tears throughout this story, but they were so worth it to get to the happy ending. :)

Cause and Effect is shorter than Consequences and we are already closing in on the confrontation so the pain fest will end sometime soon.

Sorry it took so long for me to get this read, but I've been sick with a constant headache which made looking at the screen very blury.
I loved this chapter, but I'm not going to say too much, because I want to read the actual wedding. I can't believe this story is almost over. I think I'm going to have to go back and read it all again before I read 'Cause and Effect'. I actually may have to wait until 'Cause and Effect' is completed because I know how much heartache I'm going to have to read before Edward and Bella are reunited, and I don't know if I can take it a chapter at a time. Still, I am looking forward to reading it.

Cause and Effect is definitely a pain fest at the beginning, however, my validation beta is MUCH faster than the one for Consequences so you guys are going to get it a lot faster. So you won't be left hanging for ages with Cause and Effect :D

You're right. vampire's they might be, but still imperfect. This was a harsh chapter to read but also neccesary. I hope the next chapter will be moving us closer to them reuniting.
Author's Response: I know... I sometimes feel like authors paint them as these perfect beings. Yes they have more skill but it means they can make even bigger mistakes. Like this. I honestly feel a bit bad for Tanya too...
