You have a fan! But then again, you already know I love your writings.
When I saw that you had picked this third of the trilogy back up, it brought a smile to my face. Wish the chapters could be longer, but then again, beggers can't be choosy.
Glad the Cullens are on the same sheet of music, but they most certainly have their work cut out for them. Jasper will have to prove how incredible he truly is when it comes to stradegy and warfare. Time for Carlisle to bring some of his friends into the mix.
I simply love Bella!
Author's Response: Good morning, JRParz!
Aw, thanks. :) I'm so glad you find my words entertaining. I try. :)
The chapters are short, yeah. If I had approached this more comprehensively (like showing what is happening all over the vampverse during this time instead of just reporting), it would be a longer, more involved story. I just didn't choose to go that way, here. My "long-involved" brain is writing a Viking trilogy just now. lol
Yes, the Cullens are finally all on the same sheet, as you said. (I like your metaphor. :)) Upcoming, help will come unexpectedly. Kinda. ;-)
Thanks so much for reading and the scintillating rating!

So in Bella's quest to get their family back together she inadvertently allowed some vampires to go nuts. I think they would do that any way as long as they didn't get caught. IT seems all good and high for Amun since he is so surperior. What if he was around some highly schooled individuals that set in their minds how do defeat the vampires with Fire. Well that could get interesting.
Author's Response: Hello, MaryCubed. :)
Yes...Bella did not think about the ramifications of her actions. And Amun...well...he thinks he's BEYOND ramifications.
In upcoming chapters...the fire thing? Keep your eyes open...

This freedom that Bella wished for is what we all wish for in life. The problem is How you use your freedom. Your freedom stops at the other persons nose. Wow LJ... deep meanings here.
Author's Response: Hi! *waves*
Yes, this, exactly. How does one use one's freedom? That is a huge question, all throughout the history of man.
Somehow, we have to curtail our expression of our own freedom before we hit that other person's nose, as you said. But how to persuade anyone of that...?
That is the challenge.
Thank you!

Well they are in a situation that calls for Edward's diplomacy. I hope that he can keep Bella quiet long enough to get them out of there.
Author's Response: Hello again!
Yes! They certainly are. How diplomatic can Edward be...? Hmmm... And how will he and BElla work this out?
Thank you for reading!

that statement was totally unfriendly but if you look at the past they are all guarded and untrusting.
Author's Response: Good morning, MaryMaryMary!
Yes...they are all very untrusting at this stage. With reason, really. It's been a heck of a ride for everyone.

I picked the rest but not the use of the cable. Good story but lots of open endings
Author's Response: Good morning, griff1au ~
Bella's plan was not entirely well-conceived, meaning that there were a lot of holes, for sure. She's brave, but not wise. Not really. The cable didn't work out as she expected, either. She was preparing for a contingency that never arrived.
Thank you for reading and the super shiny rating!

Oh for a first chapter of the first story of a trilogy that was magnificently written. You got me hooked. I don't read many of these fan fic stories so yours will have my undivided attention for awhile.
Author's Response: Good afternoon, griff1au!
Thank you. :) I'm glad you liked the beginning of this story. I hope the rest continues to entertain. I am currently finishing up (finally) the final story in this series. Hoping to wrap it up within the next couple weeks or so. What you have here is From the Wings, Places, Everyone!, and The Surprising Gift. The final story (yep, four in a trilogy...go figure) is Lights Up.
Thanks for reading, reviewing, and for the scintillating rating!

Our loving Bella and gorgeous Edward have gone to meet the Egyptian coven per a couple Volturi guards. All of their members are impressed with Bella thinking she is a great warrior. Amun wants Bella to realize what he experienced when he was first turned and that treatment was being treated as a god. Took Bella out to the humans in the day to reveal their diamond glows. This coven was glad for the over throw of the previous administration of Aro, Caius, and Marcus. Wonder what happened after the sun, since Alice and Jasper joined them in the desert due to her probably vision of blood massacre. The thought of drinking human blood to Bella has never to her liking with her strong sense of humanity. Now Anum wants to talk her out in public wonder what will happen? Bella has learned her control from the best Edward. Looking forward to the remaining portion of this new chapter in the lives of the Cullens and how Bella earns all of their trust. How they become again the one close and happy family.
Author's Response: Hello!
I am so SO sorry I didn't respond to this when you posted your review. Gak. I don't know what happened to me, except that last summer was exceptionally busy.
I have finally started updating this again and just posted chapter 7 of 10 (maybe 11 if I get ... adventurous). I thank you so much for having read and reviewed. :)

Pretty mean on Rosalie's part making her give Edward a private gift in front of the family. I must admit the collar did sound beautiful along with being extremely expensive. Edward truly must have thought it was hot. Being able to keep her on a tight and close leash. Can only imagine some of the fantasies that went flying through that open window of communication between them with Bella's shield wide open. Good heavens only knows what Alice saw and let Edward get the show. Must have really good to have him let out such a delightful belly laugh. Bella humbled herself at the family embarrassment pyre. Hopefully that went a long way to calm the waves of distrust of her methods of saving and regrouping the family permanently. I personally hope that we'll get a little touch of that Alice's prophesy in the last chapter of this series. Will be very entertaining and I promise to review too. I'm sure this was a very delightful, surprising, and stimulating Christmas for Edward with lots of fantasizing to come for many centuries for both Edward and Bella. Who knows her gift may have even given her fellow family members some delicious ideas of their own to enhance their own private and tender times with their spouses.
Author's Response: Hello again, romancaholic!
Rosalie is not the nicest person, I know. Edward absolutely, though, is not at all sorry about the turn of events. He loves the collar. ;-)
And yeah... You can pretty much figure that the Cullen ladies might be receiving collars of their own. :D
Thanks for reading!

Bella had a great plan to destroy the Voltluri. Divide and conquer. Make the powerful one appear to become inadequate and losing his power. Once Aro's gift is in question as to it's strength caused hostility and confusion within the ranks of the Volturi Guard. Bella utilizing the old Morse Code means of communication to overcome the Cullen family's communication amongst themselves pretty smart. Using what has been around forever in subtle ways goes unnoticed by today's standards when everything is so high tech. Bella never giving any one of the members of her family the entire plan leaving them in confused darkness as to what her final goals to success. In the end, she overthrew the power by breaking the darker secrets held deep within the Voturi trio royalty. Aro had Didyme, Marcus's mate killed. Caius did it. Marcus had them killed. In the end once Aro and Caius gone, Marcus requested Jasper end his misery too. Leaves the throne open for the next usurper to come in and assume power now. At least Bella doesn't have to hide and deceive Edward any more. The family doesn't have to stay apart and plan meetings for reunions. Enjoyed the story when Bella brought down the Volturi by using her power and having Aro's powers appear to be fading. Looking forward to reading the 3rd in the series next.
Author's Response: Hello!
I'm glad you thought Bella's plan was a great one. :) I worked pretty hard on it. LOL
The third in the series isn't done yet, but I hope to get back to it...eventually. I'm kind of in the middle of a book. lol
Thank you so much for reading! I've so enjoyed your detailed comments!

Thanks for expanding of the fade to black in the story. Bella's seducation of Edward where she has full control is a nice switch from most fan fiction stories. With Edward's hands locked on the headboard for his first time. Then to have his way with Bella in order to have hear scream his name repeatedly and often. Spent the remainder of the evening and most of the early morning gifting and regifting each other.
Author's Response: Hello again!
Ah, you found the one-shot. ;-) Phoenix Rising appreciated this. :D
Writing it was tricky for me, harder than I anticipated. Not because I hadn't written a lemon before, but because THIS was (oddly enough) the scene I had in mind before I ever began writing From the Wings. This scene right here that I faded right out of the story. Weird, eh?
Thank you for reading!

I have enjoyed this first story in your triology series. I am a Team Edward all the way, although I do understand the Bella/Jake love angle very much. Both are a doable ending for her. Both men could make her happy only the love she feels for Edward is stronger. In this scenario, Bella chose Jake and was married for two years with him before nature (imprinting) stole Jake from Bella. Leaving Bella with the opportunity to have her other love forever. With Jake's complete blessing up to and okay to having her changed into his enemy, the vampire. Pretty neat deal all wrapped up with a big, bright red ribbon. Of course, Jake would probably have agreed to anything since his personal guilt and pain of hurting his best friend (can't say the love of his life any more it's not true.) Even with Edward leaving Bella in New Moon, she was always his everything. Bella was his reason for existing. She would be only path to happiness. He was content to walk on the outskirts of her life seeing her several times a year for his addiction. But knowing Jake was the one to be her choice would be a very hard pill to swallow and endure each day. Having Jake vividly show Edward himself making love and possessing Bella was hard even for this reader to handle. Being an avid Team Edward imaging Edward's devastation at these visions hurt deep. Wonder if Bella was ever aware that they were shown. Edward leaving after last visit with Bella to visit South American coven. It was a shame he didn't take his cell phone with him. Bella wouldn't have had to suffer an entire month without Edward and the opportunities he and his family could provide to help her heal completely. sounds like with the rest of the brothers and female folk Bella wasn't forgotten, but remembered lovingly and frequently. Bella knowing about this mystical world as she does has an inside understanding to the ways things work, doesn't completely erase the pain or conflict, but has an understanding and consideration that people totally on the outside could never comprehend. Very understandable Charlie can't stand Jake at all. Only hoping it doesn't affect his relationship with Billy. Even Billy appeared to have a hard time with the occurrence of imprinting against Bella. Love for Bella as a daughter always over time to have imprinting come along to sever those ties to Jake -- hasn't broken them within Billy's heart or the hearts of the rest of the tribe. Even Jake's own conflict of emotions of losing Bella as his wife/lover and his fear of losing her completely out of his life as his best friend. His feelings for Bella are still deeply entrenched in who Jake is within himself. Granted loving her above and beyond life and death is gone; she is still very much a vital part of his life and heart. His constant worry over her wellfare has caused him many loss nights of rest. Edward's fear that once Bella was over the loss of Jake, that she would never turn to him completely due to his prior actions of abandonment of her earlier. Surprising them all Bella was very willing to take the lab tech job in the jungles of South America just to get away from everyone. So she could stop hating Jake in front of everyone, that would be very hard to maintain. Yes the pain of him leaving her/rejecting her for another/along with the understanding of imprinting and all it's implications/pretending to hate Jake for his betrayal would be exhausting. Since Bella understands Jake had no control or power over imprinting happening or who it occurred with. Doesn't mean Bella still didn't hurt on the inside even with the understanding, but to have to act with more vehement emotions than the rational way of reality of the events would have won her an oscar if the rest of the world understood. Being able to talk with Edward another mystical being to let some of her feelings out about the situation rather than keeping them all bottled up within. She couldn't talk with the other brothers because of their relationship with Jake. Not even the other girlfriend/wives because of the closeness of the pack and their imprinted women. Bottling it all up and only letting her dreams express them, but that only caused nightmares/nights of nonrest for her. Edward and his lullaby were able to help her sleep and deal with her loss of Jake. Her acceptance of where she was in life/who she was now/where she wanted her life to go/etc... Even requiring her time away to self talk with herself for where she wanted to go. Very humorous that Bella stealing Edward's hunting shirt while away was what saved her from Joham's amorous advances in Rio. His goal to impregnate Bella with his child would never come to pass, not while Edward was alive. Edward wouldn't allow anything that would cause Bella's life to be in jeopardy to occur. Didn't he prove that by leaving her in New Moon and breaking both their hearts in the process. The idea that it was possible for a vampire and a human to mate was definitely an idea that worked on Bella's mind. For she seduced him in Rio with her gift (herself.) Dispite all the harrassing from his brothers, Edward agreed that the only logical decision would be to change Bella, if that is what she still wanted. The decisions had to be Bella's this time around, not what Edward might perceive them to be. Great plan to bring in Joham of Jasper/Edward's, too bad it didn't completely work. Bella's plan of blood worked better leaving the women vampire the opportunity to jump him and separate Joham into pieces. Can't blame Edward for his possessive streak when it came to who was going to change Bella, after all she was his mate/lover in all aspects at this point, it was and should be him creating her to be his mate forever into their new world together. Looking forward to the sequel of the Cullens dismantling the family and gradually coming back together to spite the Volturi's orders.
Author's Response: Good morning, romancaholic!
Wow!
I see that the first part of the story seemed to prompt a lot of thought for you. It was an awkward place to start the story, but I felt it was also a good one, giving Bella an upper-hand, as it were, in some areas of normal human life that Edward utterly lacked.
Glad you seemed to enjoy how the story flowed in South America. :) I had fun writing that.
I liked making the women the ones responsible for taking down Joham. Seemed to be poetic justice.
Thank you so much for reading and for your extended, thoughtful remarks!

Thank you for persevering! I watched you reading and read your remarks and was trying to read it as you were, to remember how it felt to go through that process. lol I know the mystery was confusing but I had to keep a few things (like Bella's brain!) off the radar for the story to be told.
Thank you for reviewing and for sticking with it. :) This was a REALLY hard story to write.
I still haven't finished the third and final multichapter story in this series. It's making me nuts.
Thanks again!
