Pairings you refuse to read......

What about Admiral Fic? Captain Fic?

Sometimes, I just get bored and look up random pairings. It amuses me. However, I found a Mike/Esme/James once that I should not have clicked on.

Well damn, talk about the most random pairing there could possibly be in the fandom!

I couldn't read a Billy/Charlie slash, purely for the fact that Charlie reminds me so much of my own dad, it would make me sick and I would probably need counseling for quite a few years.

That's just not right. That's like a peanut butter, mayo, and guacamole sandwich. Those should never be put together

Holy shit...I'm sorry! I'm currently heavily pregnant at the moment and these dang hormones are buzzing round causing all kinds of confusion. I think I was answering like six different threads at the time of that posting and I was probably talking to Robin (aka Totoro)...I know epic fail. Lol~!

:rotfl:

Well like I said, I agree with her!

Mike is Eddie Haskel! I used to watch Leave it to Beaver as a kid, and everytime that guy came on I had the urge to punch something in the eye with a spoon. With Mike...it's starting to be the same. Though, in defense of the guy in the movie who plays him, I don't have that urge. It's just the character of Newton that makes me clench my fists in fury.

Have any of you guys seen the movie, "Kung Fu Hustle"? That Buddhist Palm thing isn't made up- it's real- and it's what I picture Bella doing to Newton, Jane, and Edward during the breakup scene in New Moon.

They should totally add that into the film. Even though it is two weeks before release and post production is over. They still need to somehow add that palm thing.

Hell, someone make a youtube video off that shit, I would watch it! Rob Pattinson flying through the trees because he pissed Stewart off, :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I don't really look at pairings, per se, but when I search FanFiction, I usually search through Edward stories. Since the filter on FanFiction is a little easier to get through, it'll pull up stories centered around him and other people -- most of which will center around him and Bella. Which I don't like. At all.

Now, that doesn't say I won't read it. If the summary catches my attention, I'll click and usually read the first chapter. And I look at several things before I decide to carry on with it. I believe in realism. It's something I'm still working on in the stories I'm currently working on. And when the dialogue feels weird or the characters are acting strange by the end of the first chapter, which might or might not double as a prologue, I usually click the little 'x' at the top of the window.

That being said, I try not to read anything that feels weird just by looking at it. No Carlisle/Bella or Edward/Esme. I've never read Bella/Emmett stories, and I've only really sampled Bella/Jasper stories. Jasper/Alice is actually my favorite pairing, but I don't read stories with them because it feels kinda strange to see how anyone else writes their relationship. One thing I can say about SM is that she wrote them, Rosalie and Emmett, and Carlisle and Esme as some really complimentary couples. I don't know where she went wrong with Edward and Bella, honestly.

I just don't get it.

As far as Jacob with Nessie (I don't like that nickname), I can't say I've ever ventured into that end of the pool. She was a little girl at the end of the series, and reading about her and Jacob dating and having sex and getting married and having kids just feels . . . odd. So no to that. I can't really say I'd ever read Jacob/Bella stories either. Not sure why.

Edward/Jasper = Mergers and Acquisitions. That's all I'm saying. I got halfway in and had to stop as I was becoming a little desensitized to all the sex and such. They're hot together and all, but it's not my thing, and I like my occasional lemon, so every now and then, I go fishing.

Carlisle/Edward = sometimes, depending on my mood. There's possibilities there, depending on the time frame, and in a way, they were alone for three years. Not canon, but still good.

I actually haven't read many stories where Edward is with an OC, despite writing one, but I have searched for him with other characters. I read a really good one with him and Rosalie, but they were both Human, and there was no Bella. I dislike how just about everyone writes Tanya as a loud-mouth, plaything or a brooding, comehither bitch. We barely got to know her, and once Edward had chosen Bella, she backed off. It was all play for her anyway. Innocent, really. I hold nothing against her.

To me, the Volturi are the bad guys. Always will be, so pairing any of the Cullens with a member of the Volturi . . . sorry, no going to happen.

And here I'm about to say that I would actually read just about anything. And it's true. I will. I'm even writing a few pairings I don't think anyone would really understand without a certain perspective.

Whew! Didn't mean to write that much. But at least now you know. ;-)
