Pairings you refuse to read......

I know that there are way too many to list, but I'm curious which pairing makes you absolutely cringe, gag, and click off of the story immediately?

I don't want to list them all, I'll just say that alice/edward, is cringe worthy to me.

I'll put this in here, the only pairings I seem to be able to stomach, I typically will only read, bella/edward, and edward/jasper. (i love me some edward/jasper) I know I should try to stomach other pairings, but I just can't seem to get through the first paragraph.

And in this, is there a pairing that you thought you couldn't stomach and ended up surprised??

The only pairing I can't stomach is Emmett/Bella. Everything else is fine. I've read: canon couples, Bella/Jasper, Bella/Rose, Bella/Alice, Bella/Esme (good idea, VERY bad fic), Bella/Carlisle, Jasper/Edward, Jasper/Emmett, Jasper/Rose, Alice/Rose, Emmett/Jasper, Carlisle/Edward, Alice/Edward (wrote this one too!) and I think I've read Emmett/Alice. I think that's everything, but I think there could be others. I have a love for non canon couples.

Carlisle/Edward (if it's tasteful and not insestuous)

The only other character (other than Bella) that I can stomach with Edward is Jasper, and that's when Bella doesn't exist or is lesbian or something.

I pretty much love the Em/Bella pairing. I just love Emmett THAT much, so yep, one of my favorite couples (if it's not a love-triangle, I'm cool with it)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention...in my world, Nessie doesn't exist. So anything with her is a no brainer. But honestly, I often forget she's actually a character.

Ummm... pretty much any/all non-canon pairings I've read a Jasper/Bella story and the whole time I was just waiting for Bella and Edward to get back together. I don't know... Maybe once I have exhausted myself on canon pairs I'll dabble a bit more.

I didn't even get to the part where Edward goes all 'womb raider' on her ass. The second the word pregnancy came in, I put the book down, laughed for a while and put it away 'for another time that will never come along'

I usually put Nessie's name as 'Vanessa' or 'Vinessa' with the nickname of 'Nessa' because the word Renesmee shouldn't exist. Ever. It's the ugliest word I've ever had the misfortune of hearing.

Even though I love BD, I refuse to read any pairing with Renesmee...

Jake/Bella is okay but only if she is with Edward in the end.

I LOVE Edward/Bella/Carlisle. I read almost everything as long as it's well written.

I've discovered that once you ship one non-canon pairing, you can pretty much read them all. So as a Jake/Bella shipper I've discovered my fair share of crack pairings to the point where...well frankly, canon now becomes boring.

My latest two are favorites are Edward/Leah and Rosaleah (when did Leah become my fandom bicycle?)

I suppose if there was one thing I refuse to read I'd say it was Jake/Nessie, but I've found decent stories even for them.

I guess pairings are like flavors - I like to sample them all
