As usual, Bella is late for work and as she crosses the street -without looking-, a cycling music teacher, better know as Edward Cullen, must do all he can to avoid her. But the collision that follows will change their lives for good. All human and AU.

The Cullens and Swans have lived next door in the small town of Forks ever since Edward, Alice, and Bella were babies. A pretty picture this paints indeed, except for the underlying tragedies one family has gone through and the pain the other has yet to experience. Could a horrible event that snowballs into a tense courtroom bring our beloved Edward and Bella together? Or will it be their downfall?

Resolution is the dramatic scene where Edward approaches Charlie after his return in New Moon.  I was always curious how intense those interactions would be for all involved.
