We all know that Edward Cullen has the ability to read everyone's thoughts, except for Bella's.

This story is about Bella having the same gift, as a human, and being able to read even Edward's thoughts.

Takes place during the timeframe of Twilight.

Breaking Dawn is over, and Bella can show Edward her thoughts. The first time, Bella exerted a lot of effort to show Edward how much she loved him, but what was it like the second time she let her shield down? What would Edward see if he could read her at will and not just the thoughts she wanted to show him?

For those unfamiliar with my writing, this is my first, and likely last, Edward/Bella story. It is does not celebrate their love, and is NOT recommended for avid Edward/Bella shippers and/or vampire fans.

In her junior year of high school, Bella Swan was days away from moving to Forks, WA.  Fate intervened, and she never made the move.  Now entering her second year at Emerson College in Boston, Bella is passionate, smart . . . and desperately lonely.

Meanwhile, Edward Cullen is empty after years of slogging through the charade of life.  In Alaska following his latest round of high school hell, he spends most of his time avoiding his family and their pitying thoughts.  Seeking a change of pace, he enrolls at MIT and makes his way to the east coast the summer before school begins.  When he catches the scent of his singer on the air, he follows it—and her—to his destiny.

This story is nearly finished, and I plan on updating weekly.

~This story came about in quite an original way. McGeek is a military spouse with two young children. When her husband was deployed, she realized she'd be cooped up in her house nearly every single day he'd be away with very little to keep herself sane. I decided to spare her sanity by convincing her to begin this little diddly. We are both American and live on the East coast, however we reside nearly 211 miles (399.57 km) apart. Distance has never stopped us from collaborating on each and every chapter though. Technology has been our best companion as we've made use of skype, email, and unlimited long distance phone calls.
