How would Twilight have gone if Bella weren't an only child?

Bella and her fraternal twin brother Adam make the move to Forks during their junior year of high school. This story follows Bella and Adam through the events of Twilight, and shows what a difference having a sibling can make.

This is an AU version of Twilight, Bella's personality is slightly OOC

“Tell me what it is you really want, Carlisle. What you truly desire?” I started to wrench the strings that I knew would bend his will to mine, hoping for honesty.

“I want you to tell me why you’re here.” he lied. Ugh. I snapped the strings and dilated my pupils, bringing his consciousness into mine, and asked again.

“What is it you truly want?” His pupils widened as well, absorbing my power, and his answer came quietly.

“I want to kiss you again, Lily.” I pulled back from his mind as quickly as I had intruded and crossed the room quickly. With one foot in the hall, one hand on the doorknob, and a smirk on my face, I turned to look at him.

“Well that’s an awful shame,” I halted, drawing out his chagrin. “Because two hundred years ago, I may have let you.”

This is a story of love, betrayal, and acceptance between different races of vampire. Follow us through multiple points-of-view as we introduce the Cullen family to a very special new vampire, and as Jasper and Emmett are given the chance to change their lives, and themselves, forever.

Carlisle and Esme Cullen make a point of taking in the foster kids who have nowhere to go, loving them unconditionally, and helping them find themselves again. Edward, their youngest boy, has always felt slightly out of place.

When the Cullens move their family to Seattle, Edward sees a girl who doesn't want to be seen. Something is scaring Bella, is making her hide from everyone. Almost before he realizes what's happened, he cares about nothing but knowing her.

But she needs help, and he knows it. He has to have the family that saved him, save her.

She may not survive otherwise.

Years have passed since Edward left Bella in the forest. She's finally worked through her heartbreak but has never moved on to another man. She treats her best friend, Jake, like a beloved pair of old jeans. Jake is not happy with this situation. When he takes matters into his own hands, Bella's resulting epiphany makes her realize she needs to learn how to seduce a werewolf.

I looked across the room in shock. My beautiful Jacob was smiling down into the eyes of that witch! He was giving MY smile to somebody else. MY smile! His hand was on her arm. How dare he?

Bella and Jacob have been married for a couple of years, now it’s time for the next milestone in the life adventure begun in Moonshadow. A couple of very important nights for Mr. and Mrs. Black …

She appears on the Cullens' doorstep with little expectation of what is to come.

Emily invites Bella to spend the last day of Spring Break with her. Bella does not cliff dive, but instead, dives into her own psyche. Emily and Sam are making it work despite the fact Sam maimed Emily. Bella decides to be as persistant with Edward as Sam was with Emily. Now the pesky task of finding a Vampire in a haystack. Will Alice's vision be a help or hindrance? Will Jacob follow Bella? Can she afford all this travel on her measly college fund and Newton's paycheck?
